Villa Punta Coral is a spacious Caribbean dream home located on the Samaná peninsula in the Dominican Republic.
Splendidly situated within 60 meters of the coral shore, the deep blue ocean is a permanent part of the experience at the villa. It also lies right on the migratory path of the humpback whales, so one can frequently observe whales right from the terrace (December through March).
Both the villa and the swimming pool were completely renovated in 2011.
The architecture of Villa Punta Coral is breathtaking and uses typical local materials, including a thick roof in palm tree leaves. The style of the furnishings and decor is arranged for cool, simple, yet elegant Caribbean living. Each room has the necessary amenities to enjoy a comfortable stay. Villa Punta Coral is a place of serenity, refuge, renewal, and escape.
The villa is surrounded by a lush garden with palm trees, shrubs, flowers and grass. It also has a small private beach and offers a spectacular view of the Samaná Bay. Breathtaking sunrises and moonrises over the vast expanse of blue sea, combined with the gentle breeze swishing in the palm leaves all fuse together to create truely spectacular outdoor living at Villa Punta Coral.
The swimming pool with open-air BBQ, as well as the large shaded terrace are very inviting for outdoor entertainment. A gazebo offers welcome shade and space for a hammock, so you can relax to the soothing sounds of the ocean.
The Peninsula of Samaná
The peninsula of Samaná is one of the most beautiful regions in the Dominican Republic, thanks in part to its relative isolation. Its pristine beaches, sparsely-populated mountainous terrain and an abundance of tropical vegetation, are not only a welcome change, but are all that remain of the true magic of the tropical Caribbean. Unlike the rest of the country, the peninsula of Samaná is not yet developed for mass-tourism, so you will find a laid-back atmosphere with friendly people and an unsophisticated life style. The towns of Las Terrenas and Nagua in the north offer a bit more sophistication, while Samaná and Las Galeras are particularly laid-back and easy-going.
